SIMPLE STEPS TO GET YOU UNSTUCK

downloadIt is not rare to find yourself stuck in a scenario that you do not know how to get out of in business. This feeling of stagnation may leave you discouraged but that should not always be the case. These simple steps can help you move out of feeling like you are stuck in a rut.

1. Make space for what you want

When you are trying so many things simultaneously, what you want to achieve does not have space to enter into your life. You can make space by de-cluttering your life. Many are drowning in clutter and wondering why clients are not coming their way. A common point of clutter in unread e mails. Are you guilty of having 1279 unread e mails? Seeing these e mails everyday when you open your inbox overwhelms you. Delete them to create space.

You also need to disentangle yourself from at least three commitments. These committees can include chairing committees you do not need to be in. You should be able to help others and also provide time for yourself. Set aside a certain amount of time per day for yourself to relax and recharge.

2. Reach out with an offer

You can reach out with an offer at the end of the month or before a certain season to get new clients. As you can put out end year deals, end year offers or Christmas offers for your services/products as we enter into the month of December. These offers will attract new clients as they will not want to miss out on the good deal.

3. Taking a bold step and creating an upward spiral

This is a difficult step but bears results. To get new clients, become the client you want to attract. If you are hesitant and indecisive, you will attract clients who hesitate to pay on time as well. Clients who say “I will call you when ready” or “I need to think about it” when given an offer are not decisive enough. You should not follow clients around begging them to take up your services. They should realize that what you are offering is of optimum value and answer with a simple yes or no when approached.
